Lella Hamilton was born and brought up in a family of fashion designers in Columbia,
South America. She moved to the USA in 1966 and became a hand weaver
incorporating old techniques into modern design. Her work evolved into a
line a greeting cards with an Asian flair. "The elegance and simplicity of
Asian design appeals to me. When I discovered that the cards were kept and
framed I decided to make them to be framed and in designs that could be
easily incorporated into any decorating style." She and her family reside
in Gig Harbor, Washington.
