Kenn Johnson's career as a prominent arts and art teacher spanned fifty years. Born in Seattle he was particulary renowned for his portrayals of the landscape and maritime scenery of the Puget Sound region, but he was also a master of still life and prolific portraitist. His primary medium was watercolors but also painted in oils.
